Undervoltage | 1901 | Instantaneous Undervoltage due to sudden loss of voltage. | Problem 1 |
Undervoltage | 1902 | Both Zero Crosses missing Undervoltage due to faulty excitation winding.or zero cross circuit.or circuit in general. Possible cause: loose wiring, field boost hardware failure | Problem 1 |
Undervoltage | 1906 | Single Zero Cross missing Undervoltage due to faulty excitation winding , zero cross circuit, or circuit in general. Possible cause: field boost hardware failure | Problem 1 |
Wiring Error | 2099 | Customer connection low voltage and high voltage wires are crossed. | Check customer connection in generator |
Overload Remove Load | 2100 | Overloaded - Default (Output Current Method) Unit is overloaded, one of the two CTs is detecting an overload condition. Check transfer switch loadshed functionality. (Change load dynamics or utilize loadshed). | Remove Load |
Undervoltage Overload | 2299 | Unit was overloaded and attempted to start with a large load connected. The unit can not ramp up the generator voltage to its normal target volt- age value if it starts with a large load connected | Remove Load |
Stepper Overcurrent | 2399 | Current flow in stepper coil(s ) above specification | Test 12 |

Generac Error Code 2800 Reset
Error Code 2800 On Generac 22 Kw Gen Set
I'm being flooded with questions about the 2800 shutdown fault code for Air Cooled Generac generators. This code is VERY simple to fix. The new Generac WiFi products that are shipping come standard with the Aux Shutdown kits installed. The 15kW are larger units have 2 switches, while 14kW and lower use just 1 switch.
Generac Error Code 2800
- This is a list of the Generac Evolution e-Codes (alarm codes) that you may see on the display. Under each is a brief description of what the problem is and the possible causes. If you need more help, please post a new topic with your particular information so that we can help!

- Last updated on February 18th, 2021 at 10:03 am. A generator is a very useful device at times of power outages.Sometimes, your generator may face some problems. One of the most common problems that a generator faces is that it starts well, runs for a few seconds, and then shuts down.
- Auxiliary shutoff switch tripped or broken.
