The second edition introduced the Clans and reworked much of the basic rule set. The third edition includes a character creation system that is similar to FASA's original Star Trek role-playing game. It fixed many of the issues introduced by the. Be it 1st, 2nd, Classic, 3rd or 4th Edition of Earthdawn. One fanmade Earthdawn 4th Edition character sheet was already introduced on the blog, even before the official release was made. Now, for actually casting these ewrthdawn, the rulebook suffers from a serious case of vagueness. Or “X” in place of “V”? Dungeons & Dragons S PECULATIVE. What do You think about this? At the bottom of first page are 6 fields to count whatever you need. What about changing ticks into black squares?
And of course the source is freely accessible and modifiable, therefore dear game master don’t expect the saved characters to be always valid. It starts in line 7.
But finally I re-edited the Spell page and finished it today. You record with those checkboxes the attribute increase. There might also be some house rules incorporated into some of the talents but the basic character generation rules using the attribute purchase method match the ones from 2nd edition. I hope this information has been useful to help you to track down that extra functionality. But I have some trouble to insert spells in the spell sheet.
May you interested in renaming the data field names into names which are already handled by the Earthdawn Character Editor? Can I get another bit of help?

Sorry for this major error, but who could have expected that. You can save data typed into this form. These are greyed out and unavailable in the forms I cannot save. If a group is in combat with a single enemy and that enemy is locked in a spell like bone dance, do the other attacking characters just get to wail on the enchanted person? Use pdf-xchange viewer to edit and save the filled sheet.
Is eaethdawn any chance of reuploading the sheets with full ability to save data? Don’t reload the page during character creation or you will characcter all your entries.
I thought about talent knacks, but as separate, additional page, maybe also with Questors powers. When fields were added any following field will also be named “untitled”. Is there any repercussion to the necromancer? Maybe UglyGoblin will find some time to add Talent Knacks to the sheet. One version uses the alternative dice table with D20the other one……… well guess it. If you wonder how you can make the fields of an already finished PDF editable; I used the free online software PDF Escape to add checkboxes and editable fields to the sheet.
Then your changes can be saved.

Unfortunately I can’t do anything about it, seems to be a conversion thing. It uses charracter server-side scripts also in order to retrieve the basic data but it would be possible to convert it to a strictly client-side tool.
I will edit the spell sheet as an extra page and try to add it to the two previous pages, but this will take some time and I earthdan promise that problem will be fixed then. I love the layout of your character sheets but it is a shame the editing rights set up don’t permit saving the completed sheet, only printing it out.
